Tutor With Us

Are you trained in Orton-Gillingham or an Orton-Gillingham based method of teaching dyslexic students? Join us!

Language Skills Therapy is a nonprofit, self-governing cooperative of O-G trained tutors. We provide tutoring and remediation to students with dyslexia and other learning differences.

Benefits of joining include:

  • Set your own schedule

  • Support from and collaboration with other tutors

  • Mentoring for tutors new to LST

  • Hybrid membership meetings (Zoom and in-person)

  • Continuing education:

    • Programs at many of our meetings

    • Listing of available online and in-person continuing education opportunities

  • A voice and a vote in changes to our policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Completion of training in an O-G based method of remediating dyslexia

  • Completion of a supervised practicum

  • Three references
